Oh heaven – exquisite cheddar cheese with your spectacular view. We offer vac-packed individual portions of Pyengana’s nationally renowned Vintage (18+ months old) and Tasty (12–15 months old) cheddars. They’re stable without refrigeration until you open them – then best consumed in a sitting. As if you won’t want to…

NB: it’s hewn sections of cheese, so not an exact weight. Your wedge will be 150-200g of fromage fabulousness.

    Great nibble with our ( rationed) glass of red! Definitely recommend, since nearly everyone finishes each days walking quite early so nibbles are definitely required.

    Purchased the vintage cheese for an afternoon treat with a glass of red! It was delicious, so tasty. Highly recommend with or with out wine it’s a lovely treat after a big day of walking.

    We got the tasty cheese, and what a cheese it was! After the track we had to buy more of it and bring home to Norway. Highly recommended!!

Pyengana Dairy Company operator Jon Healey heads the fourth generation running dairy cows in the Pyengana Valley. His family’s been farming the same patch for more than a century. These days Jon works with his wife Lyndall, their three daughters and a staff of about 25. Pyengana Dairy has 12 cheese varieties of cheeses and its full–cream and low-fat non–homogenised milk also attract a cult following.
