Another favourite of North Indian cuisine – this time of medium heat, the Maharajah’s Choice Baigan Bharta is a really tasty mix of minced roasted eggplant with onions, tomatoes and spices. The dish is also common to Bangladesh and Pakistan; it’s hearty and warm. We add a couple of multi-grain or gluten-free tortillas to the meal for some extra energy – they’re great dry-fried.
For gluten-free select the tortilla marked (GF).

It’s a little heavier than the dehydrated options as others have mentioned, but it’s delicious and the added tortillas helped boost the meal.
I’d recommend bringing more tortillas if you’re a big eater, especially after a long day’s hike!

So simple and SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! Could literally drink the sauce on its own! We too ate it on the first night to eliminate the slightly heavier meal first. Definitely worth buying!

This was my favourite dinner. It was yummy, with a large serving Easy to prepare with cook in the bag heating and dry frying the tortillas. 10 mins max. I loved this meal.

This meal had bags of flavour and the two tortilla included made it a good sized meal for one. Delicious with a nice spicy kick (but not too spicy).

This was so delicious and super easy. Tonnes of flavour and has a good kick.
It’s not dehydrated so is a bit heavier than other options, it’s a good one for the first night. You might want to take some extra carbs with you too.
