Louise –
Loved the addition of tea towel and scissors. Perfect kit.
william.archinal –
This was a great mess kit to take on the track. Since I hiked with my wife we left a few of the items behind to reduce our weight (e.g. only taking 1 pair of scissors).
kerry.garbutt –
Perfect kit for the hike, we used every item each day. The carry bag, cleaning cloth and scissors were useful inclusions. Light and packable. Would hire again rather than bring from home.
lbauermeister –
Great little kit and reasonably compact.
Judy Bothamley –
Very useful although we decided to do without the larger plate- scissors useful and the cloth we used as both cloth and T towel. Found the measurement gradations useful but hard to read
ricky c –
Perfect and essential! made our lives so much easier
John Pohl –
This is totally worth hiring. The addition of the scissors is a clever move as it helps with those meal packs. If I could make one suggestion, that would to have the measurements available next to a clear strip on the cup and in dark lettering. It was a little tricky with my blindness to clearly read it.
Julieta Woosley –
Great little set, though we didn’t use both the plate and the bowl and took our own mugs. The scissors are very handy for cutting open food pouches.
Tina –
Perfect little kit with everything you need.
Louise –
Great little kit that has everything you will need and comes in its own little bag to keep you organised on the track. . I really appreciated the addition of a cleaning cloth. The ones in the hut looked a bit grotty so I was happy to have my own. It is these little touches that make 3 capes gear and gourmet better than the rest. Louise
Katia –
Excellent, lightweight option and very easy to clean. The rubber cup was a little tricky to manage with the Aeropress that we also hired; I’d recommend bringing a solid cup as well as this kit.
Gail MacCallum –
Katia – you’re so right about the rubber cup and apologies for our ditziness … we’ve added a rigid cup into the aeropress kit so that there’s no need to battle pressure, gravity and accordion folds, and all before the first caffeine hit …
Ralph Tattersall –
This was a very good hire. Good gear that I’m going to buy myself now. Light, compact enough and I especially liked the way the spoon fork knife and scissors all clipped together
Jenny WIlson –
These were all we needed and did the job perfectly. One less thing to carry with us from WA.
Mandy Dean –
Lightweight and packs away into a bag. For those new to hiking and wanting to try before you buy this mess kit is great.
