Nice flavour with a good level of spice. Heavier meal so good to have on the 1st night.
Shared this and the Baigan Bharta with my friend, it was nice to have the variety of both dishes.

Seriously consider this meal. We had it on its own and it was full of flavour and delicious. We just had to heat it up!

Very tasty dinner and super filling. Pairing it with a fried tortilla made for a perfect meal. Easy to prepare and a hearty meal to enjoy after a long day of hiking. Just lovely.

This is by far the tastiest Dhal I’ve had in a long time. Thoroughly enjoyed it after day 1 of hiking! Had a bit of a spicy kick to it, but was excellent for warming up. I had mine with a fried tortilla, very full afterwards!
